WE INVESTIGATE THE POTENTIAL OF BRAZILIAN BIODIVERSITY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS

ANGICO  leather

ANGICO leather is a material similar to cow hide leather but made from plants. ANGICO is a material free of plastics and toxic chemicals. Intended to replace animal and/or synthetic leather, it can be applied to different products covering different industries such as fashion, accessories, product, decoration, mobility, among others.

LOCAL  &  ABUNDANT

We have researched the characteristics of native Brazilian plants to develop ANGICO leather. Through the investigation of the potential of Brazilian biodiversity, we selected plants and residues that occur in abundance and have low commercial value for the development of this material, such as the Angico tree, a species used in reforestation projects of riparian forests and found in different Brazilian biomes.

TECHNOLOGY

Our technology is in the R&D phase and patenting process.

We have a dedicated and specialised team working hard on this. More than offering a vegan leather alternative with low environmental impact, we aim to develop a production model that is positive for the planet and people.
